It really is cute,  sort of reminds me of an American Robin youngster with the spotted breast.

Hmm, comb looks like pullet but feathering makes me want to say cockerel :/.

I have been thinking the same thing. This bird is so much bigger than my others and has big shoulders. It looks rooster shaped to me. I'm thinking about caponizing, so I need to be sure!
