Hoping to get back into quail egg production smile.png
I have an old raccoon cage that's wire on all sides, 6x6x4. Considering turning it on its side and putting some sawhorses or something under it to raise it off the ground.

Would that work? Is 4ft enough for the quail to boink without killing themselves?

Farming with the family in Central CA.

The layer flock:  Blue Wyandottes, BBS Andalusians, EE's, Australorps, Cuckoo Marans, a few BBS AM's, a few Olive Eggers.

Just for fun: Mille Fleur d'Uccle bantams, BBS Orps, Lav Orps, Coturnix quail, Polish mixes.

Turkeys, geese, goats and sheep, oh my!
