I posted this video on the Guinea forum and it got me thinking, what is the oldest egg you have hatched?

I found one of my guinea eggs laying in my yard. I brought it in and set it on the kitchen counter. There it sat for three weeks in a house that was 78-80 degrees. My intent had been to find the nest and put the egg in it. But my girls hid their darn nest so well I can't find it.

I was putting duck eggs into the incubator and decided to put the guinea egg in also. Low and behold three days early I had a strong keet hatch! That egg was old, never turned while sitting on the counter and kept in way to hot of temperatures. I was shocked to see life at 7 days and even more to see movement at 14 and 21.

I managed to get the entire hatch on video!

I didn't have an old egg hatch but three I left out so she would start brooding on a Bobwgite quail... those things were BOILING HOT for about a week and freezing cold at night... out of the three two made it... with one so strong it was shocking
