Are you positive you need the spray? I cannot tell you exactly why but with all my birds running around I have zero mosquitos. I put dryer sheets on my girls and we have no problems.

:lau  Sorry....just picturing chickens running around with organic dryer sheet 'capes'.

Great article on VENTILATION, one of THE MOST IMPORTANT aspects of coop design.

Fantastic treatise to help decide how much SPACE your chickens need.

Chicken math is not just 'addition'...but also should include Division, Multiplication and especially Subtraction!!!

Lol I am sorry, I should have said dryer sheets in the human children. I trust the hens to eat whatever insect they encounter. big_smile.png

I did not say they were organic. They are bounce. I am a big believer in finding the simplest and least dangerous solution. I only use the dryer sheets on the girls, otherwise I almost always line dry my clothes. (Dead of winter I do break down and use the dryer) But a dryer sheet tucked into their pants is better then many bug sprays.
