Hi. This is my first time rising chickens and I've read a lot so far. They have been in the new coop for almost 3 weeks. The roots are higher and away from nesting boxes. At first they didn't use the roost at night, but all 9 of them do now. Obviously they aren't laying yet, but they are sitting on the edge of the nesting box (on the lip the holds the bedding in) and pooping in there at some point during the day. Should I just block the boxes off for now until they are closer to laying? Hopefully they won't do this by the time they are laying! Thanks for reading and any advice you can give
