I know there are a few threads on this already...but I would love your opinions. We purchased a mixed flock of day old chicks almost three weeks ago. Every breed has a pair and every pair is growing at a very similar rate...except for our Australorps. One is much more feathered out,larger and very noticeably had double lengthed tailfeathers. I know it is typical for chickens to grow at different rates but I am curious if something else is going on? The tiny guy seems happy and healthy albeit a bit scraggly.
