ok,..thanks,..she has a male Mallard following her around along with the white goose(the goose & her have been at the pond for about 5-6yrs) and they are together ALL the time. Last year she sat on her eggs for about 5 wks but no babies,..not sure how and why no chicks,..??!
If she hasn't mated with a compatible duck (of the same species) there likely won't be babies.
