I have 5 bardrock chicks ,they are about a month to two months old, they are all supposed to be hens but two are light in color and have bigger combs and starting to get the waddels and they are a bright orange red color and the other three are yellow orange. Just wondering if they look like roosters or hens? Thank You.

Lighter in color, bigger, redder combs, yellow legs are generally males, - females tend to have a black wash down their legs and darker, well defined barring. You can also post your photos at "what breed or gender is this," where more experienced flocks will express their opinions.

Hi and welcome to BYC - you have some great advice already so I'll just say hello!

Hi and welcome to BYC I am glad you could join us in she first pic the ne with a its head infront of the other I would say hen and the one behind roo. And then the one with the bigger comb in e other two pics I would say a Roo ifk if it's the same bird or not.

Thank you, we got 5 and was all supposed to be hens but i seen those two had the lighter color and very little black on legs and there combs and waddels was brighter , so i started looking up what they look like at that age .
