I received these yellow cockerels as extra males for warmth from Ideal. I emailed them a picture and they said they thought they were white leghorns. Would this be correct even though their "adult" feathers are coming in yellow?
they are pictured here at 3 weeks old.

 
I don't think they are leg horns, but chickens like flamingos will turn the color of what they are eating if the base is white ; mine did get yellow when I was feeding them a lot of corn. What color are their ears, I can't see them, red ears=brown eggs.

Here is a better picture of 2 of the 8 I received. Their feathers have always been yellow, they only eat chicken starter (and free range bugs, grass etc).

A few of them already have large combs that are starting to turn red (like the last picture) but some have little yellow combs still, could there be any chance they could've slipped up and put some pullets in with what they thought were leghorn cockerels?

Again I believe they are buff orphingtons and u r in luck cause I can indentity gender just do the following

You could have a few hens in there. I couldn't see the pics very well but what I could see u could have some hens. Also I understand it is difficult to get pics of them sometimes. So here is my method but no method is 100% right so you may just have to wait.
