I gave my broody hen some chicks because her eggs where not hatching. She is doing great with them!
My chicken coop is about 5-7 feet of the ground, and the ground under the coop very hard. I also have 3 other hens in the coop.
I have locked my broody hen, and chicks in the toip of the coop for a day now.
The other hen have laid eggs with her everyday whale she was sitting on her eggs, before the chicks came.
should I move the broody hen, and chicks to another coop, or sould I leave her in the same coop with the other 3 hens?
The mama hen is pretty good about protecting her chicks.
just don't know if the other hens would kill the chicks...

I have about the exact same coop situation as you. I put hardware cloth on the ramp so the chicks can climb it, and put 4" hardware cloth "guardrails" down each side of the ramp to deter any falls. Momma hen taught the chicks to go up the ramp at dark and my other hens all but ignore the new chicks.
