Hello we have added our 2 groups together. One of our rot little girls is bleeding behind her comb. What should we do? Should I Put on it. They are all in the same coop and it appeared they were ok but I found this this afternoon. I'm so sad!

Can you tell us a bit more? How many in each group and what age are your younger chickens? Have they had any chance to get to know each other (through wire, being next to each other while caged, etc.) before they were added together? For your hurt chicken, if her wound is still bleeding, she will continue to get pecked on, so you might want to remove her.

We have 7 older girls. The young ones 17 weeks. The have been in the same run with chicken wire separating then so the have seen each other since they were12 week. We let them together Sunday but they slept in the shed and not in the coop but last night we put them in the coop. Not sure what happened there are 5 babies and this is the only one with any injuries the babies all stay together for the most part.
