What I would do is spend as much time as possible with them, just quietly sitting talking to them and offering them treats when you visit. Let them associate the treat with you and your hands, so it will become a "positive" for them. It will take a bit of time, so be patient. The more time you spend around them, the quicker they will get used to and not be so afraid of you as well. Keep your movements slow and steady though, when reaching out, do it slowly and if possible, not from above, as poultry instinctively fear things "swooping in" on them, think birds of prey.

I love your ducklings especially the brown one - what a doll. You could post on the "Duck thread," and ask what breeds you have.

Thank you so much for your tips it really helps. The first day when I took them out of hte box I was sitting IN the brooder with all of them for probably 2 hours I couldn't make myself leave! Now, well the brooder is a LITTLE bit dirtier so I sit outside it. With 69 little feathery butts running around in there its definitely harder to catch the ones you want. I shall win my lil ducks over though! I am determined. :D

Thank you, The duck threat and the chicken breed thread I am going to be heading there soon, I want to get better pictures of the babys first, so its easier to tell the difference. The yellow ones though I have no idea how people tell them apart! I am just going to be taking their advice cause really I have no idea :D
