Help for a chicken nubie

Hello all i am very new at the chicken game. But i was wondering what sex and breed the two fuzzy chickens are? And also i know the big one in the background is a cornish X but no idea what sex it is. They are about 12 weeks old. Now i will give a bit of background i bought 6 chickens from TSC at the time i knew nothing about chickens and got them anyway the people at my local TSC didnt tell me anything about these chickens and i ended up with 3 Cornish X and 3 assorted bantams and all i really wanted was egg layers. But again i had never owned chickens before. Also 3 of my chickes didnt make it 2 of my cornish chickens and one bantam. One cornish broke its leg in a goreish manner and the other just fell over dead ( i have read this isnt uncommon) as for the bantam it didnt last 2 weeks after we brought it home not sure what was wrong with it.

Any help tips or comments are grately appreciated.

Whoa, so much fluff! They look like silkies to me. Do you have a better picture of the Cornish?

The Cornish X looks to be a pullet (female) but as for egg laying for her it'll be hard to tell because she's a meat bird and meant for the table, and she looks right for butchering right now, The Silkie (the one with the feathers on its head) looks to be a cockerel (male), the other white chicken looks to be like an egg layer of some sort but can't really see it too well. Please take pictures of head, legs and tail feathers looking down on the bird, then we can see better. Thanks

The Cornish looks like a pullet and the other two are silkies, and they also look like pullets.

I thought they may be silkies but i wasnt sure, and sorry about the pics i will take some more when i get home from work. Thanks for all the replies.

i know the cornish X is ready i just cant find any one to take it... my wife refuses to eat our animals.

Aww, I'm sorry. Maybe call a local feed store and ask if they know of anyone that would take it. If it's a Mom and Pop store they probably know someone who butchers there own and wouldn't mind another

I see the cornish cross and two silkie cockerels. Sorry, no eggs from that group.

You might advertise the Cornish on CL or someplace like that. Not sure how much luck you'll have getting rid of the silkie cockerels.

Too early for the silkies and can't see them well in pictures either. I bet if you list the Cornish x bird on Craig's list - someone will grab it up for a free meal.
