Keeping chick from scratching herself

I have a 3 week old chick who has a bloody spot on the back of her neck. We've separated her and keep applying some peck no more. However she keeps scratching it off with her feet. Is there anyway we could put something over her nails or feet to keep her from scratching? Thanks!

Do you have any menthol ointment, such as BenGay, Gold Bond, Icy Hot or other brands? That can relieve itching as well as work as an anti-pick medicine. BluKote or gentian violet work well to hide the red spot, plus are anti-bacterial. Nustock cream works as well.

I don't think I have any of those on hand. I do have caladryl and neosporin. Would those be okay?
