Good afternoon all! I didn't actually join this group because I own or plan to own any chickens. I joined because I have recently started a mealworm farm and thought this would be the perfect place to learn about chickens and chicken people and maybe meet some close to me in the hopes of hopefully selling in my area.

A little about me. I live in Temple, GA and have lived here my whole life. I work full time and bought my first batch of worms in April with the intentions of using them to feed my birds and attract bluebirds to my yard. Then I started reading about how people farmed them to sell as treats for chickens and ducks, not to mention a ton of other things so here I am. From what I can tell no one in my area sells them live and lots of people own chickens so wish me luck.

Hi Kim!! I live in Crawford County, GA We are about 20 Mi west of Warner Robins. I am not sure where Douglasville is?? Good idea about selling mealworms, how is it going????
 
Good morning! Doulgas County is just west of Atlanta so it's a good distance from you. Thanks for the support. I will know after Saturday what to expect. This will be my first sale. A little nervous but I've planned and prepared so hopefully all will go well.
