The agony of temp drop

If you keep water in the incubator tray and keep the temperature right, the humidity should take care of itself, if you keep it in a controlled environment.
All I know about Australia is that Paul Hogan came from there. Crocodile Dundee. LOL
So, GO HERE and look at these instruments, if your temp in the room fluctuates a lot.

I have to keep my incubator dry or I end up with drowned gooey chicks, so that doesn't work for everyone. :)

It's a shame ladies can't lay eggs and hatch them, it sure would save y'all a lot of discomfort. LOL
No kidding. Though I'm not sure I would want to put up with laying an egg every day, not to mention how that could potentially affect the world population. I mean, what would pro-lifers have to say about each woman possibly killing 365 embryos a year, or even 12 if it only happened monthly...

I was,of course, referring to the entire incubation process and too dry along with other management problems certainly can result in some hatching irregularities.
But as a general rule, too humid is worse than too dry and too hot is worse than too cold.
Very sorry to hear about the poor hatch. Better luck next time.
