Can chicks have bugs as treats?

Hi all.
My barred rock babies are about 4.5 weeks old now.
I have been doing a lot of yard work since the weather has warmed up and I've been finding a lot of regular earth worms. Can I give those to the chicks?
Also will they need store bought grit if I do give them?

Bring the babies out with you into the yard and let them hunt some worms/bugs. They will get grit from the ground as they have fun.

Or bring stuff in and bring in a hunk of ground too (or get grit)
 
TLWR is absolutely right! Those chicks are plenty old enough to be going outdoors.

If they're still trapped inside in a brooder, it's high time you move them into a coop and let them have access to a run and supervised visits out into the garden to scratch for worms.
