Injured Canadian Gosling

Gosh I really don't know though it probably would. However I wouldn't begin to know how much to give it cause you could easily overdose if it's for a horse. Can you maybe google something like.. what can I give a hurt goose for pain??? Lol I bet something will pop up!!! It's hilarious but that's how I search for stuff and I've learned SO many things this way. Good luck to you!!!

Would a small dose of cow or horse benedrill work?
I really advise against it! Lots of painkillers can kill birds insanely easily.... I suggest you google around again. :/ I wasn't able to find any painkillers for my girl Monica when she got bumblefoot, so instead of treating her bumblefoot, which was possible, I put her down because it would be very painful without any relief for pain.

HI
I have used Arnica 30c and Rescue Remedy on my birds successfully for many different things. Rescue Remedy is for shock, trauma etc..
Arnica is for pain I use 1 pellet 30c dissolved in distilled water. It's important to not touch the pellet with your hands but to pop it into a glass and let it dissolve then give to the gosling by a eyedropper couple drops in the beak and then empty his water and put this in it. Rescue remedy would be like 1 drop every 2 hours until its your bed time. Observe the chick in the morning.
If need be give again but 1 drop every 4. Usually every 2 hrs works for me for the one day then they are good to go.
Hope this helps. You can get these things at a health food store or order online. Hope this helps. All the Best!

Yesterday the gosling was doing a lot better, just a minor limp.
So we let her go outside, immediately she ran towards the dam about 2 miles away, so I headed her off and showed her to a closet pond
