And now...the run....

Wow, that's pretty impressive! I did wonder about you guys watering all those baskets when you posted them before. :p

I have looked at those tube irrigation kits in gardening catalogs and thought that they look like they would be difficult, temperamental and expensive. And then end up being another pile of "project supplies" that I have laying around after fiddling with them and giving up. But you say you have had good success with them for many years? And from Home Depot, no less?

I may have to give the idea another look.

I have not had good luck trying to use soaker hoses.

I much prefer the cloth soaker hoses vs the ones made from recycled rubber. The cloth hoses have performed very well for us. They are much more flexible and last much longer. I bought a bunch of 25' soaker hoses from Harbor Freight a few years ago when they were discontinuing that length. I hate to admit that I've just left them laying in the garden every winter. Never the less they are still going strong. Here's the link to the 50' hoses for $9 each at Harbor Freight.

The micro soaker hoses are something we are trying for the first time this year so we'll have to wait and see on those. I started with a basic $17 kit from HD many years ago that is still in use on the front of the house. I've had to replace a few parts and pieces but I'm totally impressed with how these super cheap kits have performed. They are super easy to use. Everything just pushes together. Here's the link.

Thank you! ALL prayers are always gratefully accepted. I still have a ways to go. The incredible amount of meds were almost worse than the heart attack. I had to go back to the cardiologist and ask them to reduce some of them. My BP was consistently pretty low (100/60) and they had quadrupled my Lipitor dosage. None of that worked for me. I was so totally fatigued that I literally could not function. They've adjusted and I'm doing much better now.

Good thoughts for you. My husband said the same thing after his. He was a healthy 40yr. Old on no meds, then, "bam" on a ton of them.

Thank you. I am feeling better after they modified the meds. I don't like the fact that this is going to be a sizeable process of getting back to normal but it is what it is. I'm trying to adjust and be happy to my temporarily reduced energy and activity level. I don't sit/lay around very well.

I'm sure we are all shocked, lol.

Glad you are on the mend!
