I moved my chickens from an urban environment to a rural area on 5 Acres there are coyotes that are coming into the property and neighbors have lost chickens and I lost one of my birds it's really sad because they are so tame so they're sitting ducks as it were. My friend who owns the farm has a chain-link flight cage that he used for cockatoos this thing is very heavy duty and probably weighs about 200 to 300 pounds. I'm wondering how I could add Wheels to it so I can move it around so the birds can be safe inside during the day when we're gone. I have been putting them in a barn but I still worry about coyotes getting in this flight cage is so heavy that if we put a roof on it and a roosting box I don't think anything can get in except the Sun. I have looked at all the wheel pictures to see if they would work for something this heavy thanks for all your help chicken people are cool. I am unable to upload a picture for some reason. Any reasonably priced flat bed trailers there that would work? Craigslist some times has good deals.
