I have an existing flock of 3 one male mallard duck I've raised from an egg. The other two are cayuga ladies that I adopted. They get along great and mate regularly. I adopted two new young female ducks from the pound one Pekin and one mallard mix. They are around 5-6 months. My drake attacks both of them not in a mating way. Won't let them in the pond, chases them from food and water. He especially hates the Pekin he will chase her anytime he sees her, pull her feathers going for her neck. She is already starting to miss feathers on the back of her neck.she is a very friendly duck, guves me kisses and sits in my lap. Could this be a cause of his anger? Is he jealous?Is there any hope or techniques I could use to make him exempt them into his flock ? I love them all and will not be willing to rehome
