I'm new and this site is amazing so far! I believe I am ready to post since it took some time to get good pics of my babies! I purchased my 6 chicks from a very reputable farm in Western New York. Beautiful rural country, a world's away from NYC. My six chicks are 61/2 weeks old and I love them so much! I supposedly have 2 EE's, 1 Orpington, and 3 Silkies. I am pretty sure that a couple are Roos but I would like opinions from experience, since I have zero! If there are any thoughts on breed, they are also welcome. The Silkies are obvious! Thank you so much for any help. Note: my babies are all nameless at this point. I find it hard to name them until I am more sure about gender. :) Happy Memorial Day!

I WANT that lavender/light blue EE!!

I really can't tell yet. I was looking for a buff chick, because I've only had buff orpingtons...yours must be otherwise.

Way too early to tell on the silkies yet, although I'm suspicious of the blackish one simply because of the awkward looking crest feathering emerging.

If the blue bird with the single comb is your orpington, I might also keep an eye on for being male simply because of how red the tiny comb/wattle is...plus it's all leg/gangly.

Sorry - not much help here. But they sure are cuties!!

Thank you so much for the help and compliments! They are all so pretty in their own ways! I love the little black silkie. So friendly and funny. But, I'm also thinking possible roo. His//her crest feathersare suspiciously masculine. :/
