Got these from chickensforbackyards.com (which has a 90% sexing guarantee). she... if she is a female, has been growing quickly and her feathers are beautiful. She is a lap dog, is the first one running to us when we open the brooder and will jump up on our laps or legs when we are on the ground. Lately her comb has been growing quickly so I wanted to post up here to see what you all think. I did searches and im on the fence, and I know its way early, they will be 4 weeks old on Wednesday, but I wanted to hear what you all think. if shes a cockerel, id have to get rid of him.

Chickens grow at different rates. Some get really large combs and wattles early on, others don't. It's really too early to tell. You'll be able to know for sure by week 11. Roosters will get red, prominent combs and wattles and large tail and saddle feathers. Around week 8 it becomes a little bit easier. However, the last thing that you want to do is get rid of your "rooster" just to find out that she's the new family's favorite hen!

Here are some of my gals when they were 4 weeks. They're all hens, but all of their combs look different!

Thanks. If she turns out to be a HE, we will still keep him till the very last moment, such a fun and good chicken. I appreciate all of the help on this forum. Ill be waiting it out, keeping my fingers crossed.
