Peacocks quarrel each other and got ill

@Garden peas thank you for great information i will be very careful about feeding with syringe in future. He died 1.5 hours after i give him milk with syringe so is there any chance i fed him wrongly?
Garden peas now i have 7 Peacocks(8 before he died) and 8 hens and have only 3 pens, due to shortage of pens i put one black shoulder with three Indian blues in one pen, one Spalding black shoulder with 3 indian blue hens in 2nd pen and 3 Peacocks in other pen and 1 adult Peacock and adult peahen is roaming free in house area other pair is yearling. Garden peas you said the right thing i have to arrange separate spaces for them by tomorrow otherwise any thing bad could be happened if they fight again.

@Garden peas, Actually I bought a Spalding black shoulder Peacock yesterday i put him in the place of Indian blue(for breeding) and put the Indian blue with the other 3 males (other 3 were his brothers and are in the same pen for 3 months and never quarrel but they didn't accept their 4th bro and get into a quarrel)

How difficult for you -- I'm sad this happened. Was the one that died the one that you had just moved in with his three brothers? It's so hard moving them around. They probably forgot that they knew him, and they have all these new adult hormones that make them more aggressive towards each other. It's just hard to deal with it when they get mad at each other.

I don't know about the liquids -- I didn't see how you gave them, so I can't tell. But look carefully at the picture and next time do be sure to do it like in the picture -- never, never, never put anything down that big center hole for sure! Also, I probably would not give milk to a sick or injured pea, but I don't think milk by itself (in the right place) would kill one. I've given yogurt to eat in their feed, and that has never harmed them. If a pea is injured or sick and not drinking water, it's probably best to give pedialyte (whatever your local equivalent may be) or plain water. You can also use an electrolyte solution that is mixed from a packet, or even a little sugar water... But the pedialyte is the best.

I know this has been a hard day. Hoping tomorrow is better for you.

Sigh. We do the best we can, and sometimes plans don't work out.

There's a better chance that the other three can manage in their pen then without hurting each other immediately. But you should work on a solution that has them separated in the near future if you can manage it.

There's not one of us who hasn't decided to try something, and discovered it didn't work. It's part of being human. Hang in there.
