SPURS!

Thread Starter

Hi, I'm the new girl.

I was complaining about my rooster attacking me ( as well as visitors) and my saavy sister-in-law came up with this site and a how-to on de-spurring without all the blood and guts!

So here I am, chicken-sister since age 9, ready to learn a few more tricks and perhaps share some experiences.

:welcome  Yeah, there are a lot of good articles on this website ... almost every chicken question I had pointed me here.  So, did you de-spur your rooster?  Is he still attacking you?

Welcome to BYC :frow Glad you joined us! Spurs have their use I'm sure, but not nice to be on the receiving end of that use!

I set fire to the rain! Watch it pour as I, touched your face. Well it burn while I cried, because I heard it screaming out your name. And I threw us into flames. I knew that was the last time, the last time...I set fire to the rain! -Adele

How is he doing without spurs? I ask because he still has wings and a sharp beak and nails to do damage with. Removing his spurs won't change his personality.
