I assume they get better with practice. Our 10 wk old brown leghorn cockerel sounds like a teenage boy in the middle of voice change.

Last summer I had a Golden Cuckoo Marans cockerel crow at six weeks, and he was attempting to mate his brooder mate a few weeks later.
