Thread Starter

I just bought some shade screen to put in the ducks pen the temps here are climbing fast . has any one ever use this. will it keep the water in there pools cooler if I put it over the pools I will drive 4 tee post  around the pools in a square and attach it to the top. this is one pool that I will cover.

I will put a post at each corner. the heat is making the pools nasty. thanks.

I haven't used it, but shade is definitely helpful.

I find I have to change pool water more often when the temperatures are high.  Bacteria load can get really huge.

Note - this kind of weather, we see more cases of botulism, when ducks get into really icky puddles, especially where something - even plants - have died.  Please familiarize yourself with the sumptoms and treatment for botulism.  Every minutes counts if they get poisoned.
