Do you think ANY eggs will hatch?

Thread Starter

I'm letting my broody hatch eggs.

i have had success in the past,BUT that was with a different rooster. He wasn't nearly as an active breeder as our rooster now.I took the eggs from the hens who get bred more often (My bantam too,and she is bred just not sure how much.)

Do you think the 6-7 eggs will hatch?

I have a  few chickens.

2 barreds,named Falcon and Hawk

1 New Hampshire rooster named,Zeus

2 New Hampshire hens named,Vanillipe (One has no name)

1 silver laced Wyandotte named,Special girl

1 White Leghorn roosters named Foggy

3 black&red Sex links,(Black)angel, and one red is named little red,and the other one is Mrs.Prissy

And a few others that sadly, died

I have a 11 ducks.

If their fertile.

The hen does her job.

Odds are in your favor.

Make sure she is isolated or other hens may try to help her out by laying eggs in her nest.

My hens have done a better job than my bators this year.

Hope all goes well for you.
