Chicken Feat to Dog Treats

I want to dehydrate my chicken feet to dog treats after processing but could I make stock out of them first then dehydrate them or will it mess the process up?

I've never dehydrated chicken feet, but I've done stock. Depending on how long you boil your stock, there will be no more meat (of the little that is present to begin with) and the bones will be brittle. Not good dehydrating material. Plus, there will be extra water in them by that point which might make it impossible to completely dehydrate. I would pick one or the other, or go with half and half if you can't decide.

I still got all the bones and heads and stuff I could make a stock out of so I don't think I'm missing much more out the flavor if I don't have feet.

Do you have room to freeze the feet?  You could then use them for treats or stock down the road.

I have a huge stand up freezer I use for my meat so yes I have plenty of room for them so I could possibly do that. It's just more customer based as of I try to do all my stock at once right after processing a bunch of meaties. But I wanted to start using feet for dog treets and just continue to do stock and canning with everything else. Just wondering if I could kill 2 birds with one stone and use the feet in stock first then dog treats to sell but idk how much of a difference it would really make if I took feet out if that's was possible at all. Of course it is but would it take a whole lot of taste away is the question really

We generally freeze the feet for our own consumption but when we secure  another large batch, if we still have the last ones, we feed them to the dogs, frozen, raw.

Sometimes a penny can be squeezed so tightly, it becomes worth less than one cent...
