Firstly, thank you to this community! This has been my go to website for the last 8 months, guiding me through the chicken coop building process and also the raising chicken process for our family. My gratitude to you all extends well beyond these few brief words.
Anywho, I started working on the coop last September and we got our 1 week old chicks in October. It was move in ready in mid-november although in truth, the fun part has been recognizing that the coop is never really complete and always can be tinkered with. It's been an fun experience.
Our 5 little chickens started finally laying eggs at the beginning of March and they did not disappoint. From the first egg through each of the 5 eggs that we now get daily, they have all been phenomenal. Mother nature does some amazing things...
