Hello. I bought 27 quail from a local breeder. I have gotten about 7 eggs per day. I built my own pens and incubator. As well as feed trough. I have my homemade brooder as well. I will post pics following. My question is I have been incubating eggs for about 15 days now. No movement nothing. Before lockdown I candles them. I could not see through any of them. However I candles the fresh eggs that my hens laid and could see through easily. I built a candlin system as well. I'll post pictures of all my buildings. However. Day 15 no pipping no movement. Are they still alive?

Start worrying if you haven't seen any pips by day 19 and don't give up hope till day 21-ish. Day 16 is hatch day for coturnix if the temp has been spot on, but delays are very common.

Thank you very much. I hope they are fine. I turn them every 8 hours on the nose. I stopped at day 14 I get so many eggs a day it's crazy! I alreasy have about 20 more eggs for the incubator. I can't tell what are fertile and what aren't though. I can't wait though. It's so much anticipation :D:D

I incubated my set on May 17th at 6pm so I think our eggs are due to hatch around the same time. I consider today as my 15th day as well.
I removed turner last night (June 1st), increased humidity, and expect them to start pipping, and perhaps hatching (if they are eager to get out) tomorrow, June 3rd in the evening time. The first hatch is such an exciting time. Good job on building the pens. Perhaps show pics when they hatch?

Still nothing. Starting to worry a bit. But my wife dropped an egg while candling from our other set an it had a baby bird inside. The loss sucks but atleast we know that the incubators are doing their job. I think I'm going to get some tonight or tomorroe

Mine typically hatch on day 18. You should start seeing pips soon.
