I have some about 10 week old chicks that I moved outside a few weeks ago. I have an indoor pen for them in a shed and a door so they can go into their run when they want. In the indoor coop I have an area where there is a ramp/ chick walk up to " second story" where there area roosts and their nesting boxes are. It seems like they refuse to use the ramp! I have put food on the ramp. I have put some chickens half way up the ramp. Nothing, they still wont use it. The sleep on the floor huddled together.
Are they going to out grow this? Or do I have to keep working with them. Once they start laying I'm hoping they use their nest boxes, but they have to go up the ramp to do so! Any advice would be great. This is my first run at this
