PLEASE CAUTION ORDERING CHICKS!!!!!

I hope many people read this! Please I am pleading with all poultry lovers repost this somewhere! Please! Last year I ordered chicks... They post office had the wrong number to call me( even after I called and made sure and took all precautions!) Luckliy everyone was okay! I knew they were there and was persistent. The post office even drove them to my house because I was not answering the number they had! We actually drove past each other! Fast forward today! I got two calls from Boonsville N.Y. I was driving but did listen to the voicemails when I got home... Chicks are sitting right now at Boonsville Post Office! I have chick orders out I might add! BUT they are not my chicks! The post office has my number on the box! I have never ordered from this hatchery and did not know it existed! I asked the post office what hatchery and I called them immediately! I asked the Post Office the name on the box and told the hatchery the scenario! I am only hoping upon hope this ends well! I will never know! I can say, PLEASE!!!! Be cautious in giving your number! Please please call post office if you think your chicks are coming in! Please call post office the morning you expect your poultry! Double and triple check!!! Thank you all for listening!

Hi Honey! I want to add, these chicks were NOT mine at all!! That is why I need poultry lovers to repost this!! These were NOT my chicks... I have NEVER ordered from Valley Hatchery( I did call them as Post Office gave me their name ) they were very nice and said they would take care of it. Point is, I do NOT think this was a hatchery incident... Someone gave my number or mixed writing a number down!!! The hatchery I ordered from last year, Privett( absolutely lousy silkies, only ordered a few... Very sweet personalities but not pure silkies. I will order again from Privett as I want Pyncheons and only place that has them) I might add, the chicks were ALL healthy!!! Everyone of them lived! All the turkey poults too. Silkie quality lousy BUT the chicks all made it and are healthy, so I would recommend this hatchery for someone who just wants layers. Anyway, the post office was calling the wrong number with my order last year! I had called beforehand to make sure they had my right number BUT still had it written down wrong. They were nice and they were worried about my chicks but please folks!!! Triple check!!! your order!

This was NOT my order at all! Someone just somehow used my number! I have had my phone number for 5 years! And because I have an order out with Sandhill Poultry and Porter Turkeys, I was initially very upset. Frankly I still was upset afterwards because the poor chicks had sat there!! I just want people to check and double check and triple check the info they give to the Post Office! Please when you all know an order is coming PLEASE PLEASE contact the post office EACH DAY! I live in a very rural area and my order initially goes to Phoenix. I will most likely make the trip
To Phoenix so I can get them ASAP! Please pass this on!!! Poultry Lovers. I am NOT sure who was to blame... The post office had two numbers on the package... This was very upsetting to me as an animal lover! Good Luck!!! I
