I am hoping someone can help me identify these ducks. I got them from a shelter who did not have the ability to care for "farm" animals. When I first got them we figured they must have been pekin ducks or pekin cross ducks. My problem is that they are trying to fly and the smaller one has even flown off the ground about a foot but only for about 10-15 feet. I am so afraid that I will look out one day and they will have flown off. I want to try and identify what breed they are so if I have to clip their wings, I can do it soon.....
P.S. They came to me in very bad shape and both have digestive issues and problems with their pallets, if they fly off they will not survive on their own.
