Or is it just -- ok, not just -- but also a dance? Never sent pics from my phone before. My ol' 'puter crapped out the other day, finally. The 3 Roos were fighting in the run this morn. No, I don't have a full count of how many I got...maybe 8 of total of 40 chickens, as a sound ballpark estimate.
Early last winter we were given several chicks from folks Ill equipped to handle the extra numbers. The dead looking (supine) one ended up popping back up after an extended rest. The 3rd I tossed over the fence into the empty rabbit run, as a pointless seeming attempt to break up the fight. All this and attending to chicks too. Chickens are high maintenance. May as well get addicted, eh.
