Help! Khaki Campbell duck with ripped webbing and bumble foot at the same time!

I saw one of my khaki Campbell ducks limping badly while I was letting them out. I thought it was bumble foot, but when I picked her up and looked her foot was ripped, she lost a toenail, and she had bumble foot. All on the same foot. Help!

I answered you on the other post.

I set fire to the rain! Watch it pour as I, touched your face. Well it burn while I cried, because I heard it screaming out your name. And I threw us into flames. I knew that was the last time, the last time...I set fire to the rain! -Adele

Hi and welcome to BYC - as DD suggests, the ER forum is the best place to get help - http://www.backyardchickens.com/f/10/emergencies-diseases-injuries-and-cures

A good duck vet would be best.

There is an infection and injury, so cleaning it well by first soaking the foot - easiest way around here is letting them play in a tub of clean lukewarm water for a while - then for the bumble I would put two or three drops of CLEAR iodine on the bumble. Keep her in a clean safe place, perhaps with a buddy, for a couple of days.

I have not had to deal with torn webbing. If it is minor there may not be much you need to do.. Otherwise I feel a good duck vet could properly assess and treat that.

Please PM me, or use @Amiga in the message if you would like to hear from me soon.
