Two baby chicks on Long Island need a good home!
Hello my name is Rachel and my sister works for an elementary school were they did an awful project where they hatch baby chicks. Unfortunately due to lack of care and knowledge, only two survived. If these chicks went back to the hatchery company they planned to just throw them away. As an animal lover I didn't want these chicks die so my family took them in, however they are growing very fast. I live in the suburbs of Long Island so I do not have the space and I believe the town wont allow us to have chickens in our yard.
I have called multiple animal sanctuaries and they either do not want the chicks or they haven't even called back.
I was hoping anyone would be willing to take them in and give them a good home. Thank you so much for you help and giving these baby chicks a better, fuller life.
Thank you,
Rachel
PS. I will drive the chicks to anywhere on Long Island if you live there.
