Mystery Chicks, Pink and Brown Eggs

Can someone tell me what I may have. Three hatched out of a light pink egg and the other three from a brown egg. Number 7, my green egg never hatched and bled out inside the shell :(. MY only EE.

<--- more black ones from brown egg

Where did you get the eggs? It they are probably either: Barred Rocks, Black sex-links, Black Australorps, Cuckoo Marans, or Dominiques.

Coworker gave me eggs but he has no idea who layed what eggs. He has 15 different breeds but only one rooster, who is a leghorn.

If they hatch from a particular color egg, is that the color the chicken will lay (if they are hens)?

Probably, not sure on the genetic of chickens yet....I'm still learning.  More experienced will peep in shortly.

If he has different breeds they are mixed breeds, I believe e since the rooster is a Leghorn they have a chance of laying white eggs and the egg color the were hatched from.
