Crowing hen or rooster?

6 month old Americauna is crowing. Is this really a rooster? She/ he is bigger than my Buff Orpington and in the middle of the pecking order of the three hens. 5 am wake ups are not popular in our neighborhood.

Roosters crow, hens cluck. Had a couple of hens that sounded like turkey, but never had a hen crow. If u believe the old story about roosters crow only during the day, u will have a real SUPRISE when the rooster crows at 2AM. Our Americauna would crow any time, day or night.

I think so yes, the tail, the comb and the crowing are dead give aways.

I set fire to the rain! Watch it pour as I, touched your face. Well it burn while I cried, because I heard it screaming out your name. And I threw us into flames. I knew that was the last time, the last time...I set fire to the rain! -Adele
