Ordered 7...got SIXTEEN

Thread Starter

Please help. I have always loved Ideal Poultry. But this placed an order of 7, and received 16 - of course the surplus being all males. I will have to sell them or give them away because frankly, they will outnumber my hens by 2 to 1 (hence my strategic order). Anyway, enough about my anger. I don't know what these 9 black ones are. Can someone help me? I did some looking around, and I believe they could be black sex links, but I'd like to get some more opinions on that before I attempt to get rid of them.

If you really just want to get rid of them fast without risking getting stuck with them, just Craigslist them for free, listed as simply "cockerel chicks, no questioned asked" the blunt reality is that most people that are going to be interested in them don't care what breed they are as they are likely to be food for something else...
