Do males grow faster??

I've got four beautiful cayuga ducklings that will be 2 weeks Thursday (6/9) and they are all eating and drinking and doing just perfect. However, I noticed one of the ducklings is way bigger than the other three. I hatched them myself so I know for a fact they all hatched the same day. Anyways I know that male ducks tend to be bigger than females, but do they grow faster than females?
 
I had 4 cayuga ducklings last year, all girls. All hatched within a day of each other. One of the hens was a giant. Topped out at over 10 lbs as an adult. From a distance looked like a black goose she so was so large compared to the others.

I was really anxious this extra large hen and the 2nd biggest duckling were males. They peeped, then squonked then quacked. No one ever started drake calling or got the curly tail.

They didn't lay til 7 months old because I didn't realize that it was dumb idea to get layer ducklings in May versus Feb/March.

I know its nerve wracking not knowing for sure. I watched every youtube video i could find with drakes calls/sounds/behavior.
