I am just finishing up my first coop and trying to figure out if I should put any kind of finish on it. I got a great deal on some rough cut cedar 2x3's and siding so I was able to construct it all out of cedar. Any one have any thoughts on a cedar coop left unfinished? There is so much conflicting advice on finishes it almost seems safer to just let it age naturally. I already have it covered with hardware cloth as well so any finish would have to be applied with that in place as well. Thanks for any advice!
