Ok..so my duck pees and poops in its 8 foot by 2 foot deep pool. Obviously, it greww out of the kiddie pool i was using. My problem now..before, i was able to easily dump and refill but i cant now as pool is much bigger.

I bougjt a149 dollar submerseble pump/filter combo at lowes. Itsade for ponds and claims to keo water crystal clean.
My question..can i add a few tablesppons of bleach once a week?

My duck drinks thw water it pees and poopa in! Ewwwww

I'm not sure that filter is going to do much.

I'd maybe consider stopping by the local pool supply store and picking up a chlorine test. That would let you be sure you haven't gone too crazy with it.

You probably could only test with fresh water, since reading the color might be difficult with poopy duck water.

The pump will not keep it crystal clear. Duck poop is high in nitrogen. The filter will likely just keep an algae bloom from happening.

I have a 1000 gallon pond and use a Skippy filter. Water is clear for a day. Day 2 it clouds up and then algea, but no blooms. That is w 4 ducks. Clear water and a non nature pond is not very likely to happen witout changing water frequently.
