bumblefoot, cyst or tumor on chicken leg?

one of my chickens has this swollen foot.  It looks like a cyst.  It's doubled in size in a week or so.  and she has been getting picked on really bad by the bossy chicken.  not sure if this is because of her foot and she is weakened?  the others seem to leave her alone but one chicken has almost killed her and is now in solitary confinement.

this is also a white leghorn but some of her feathers are turning grey...I tried washing her thinking it was dirt/mud...but does not seem to clean off.  the other leghorn is still nice and white.

the bird is about 15 months old.

I'm not a vet, but I have had 2 chickens with similar looking conditions.  It could be bumblefoot, which sounds funny but its not; bumblefoot is a staph infection.  The Chicken chick has a step by step way to surgically remove it, and on you tube there are a lot of posts showing it and how to get rid of it.  Apparently a vet can remove it also but it will be quite expensive.  Good luck.

well this is what I was able to cut out....there are more pieces but this was the big one...I cut thru the webbing from the top since I didn't really see a scab on the bottom pad, just a tiny healed slit.  the top of the swollen area felt really hard...I guess whatever got imbedded in her foot worked it's way up thru the webbing and got encased in some kinda hard coating

How is the foot healing now? Is she eating or drinking? Yes! Leave that bully separated from her. They can and will kill chickens with "defects/illnesses/weakness." looks like ur doing everhthing great!

eating and drinking fine..just like before...she is moving around fine...

her webbing between her toes is still very swollen...I hope it will go down soon and I didn't leave a hidden core or plug thing inside...

will the webbing eventually shrink back to normal or does the large swelling become kinda permanent after it heels?  Kinda like when a fat person looses a bunch of weight all that extra skin stays...
