Are red stars and gold sex links the same? Because I have a gold sex link that looks just like these. And number four is a welsummer.

Red (Gold) sexlinks are the name of a hybrid that has a red father and a silver mother, different hatcheries sell these hybrids under different names Red stars being one of them (also Golden Comets).

What a wonderful situation to buy a home that comes with hens!  What's their coop like?

It's a magical story. We built our dream solar home in 1982, but life happened and we had to sell it 12 years ago. We just bought our home back from our friends. We had a large 3 run dog kennel, and they use two runs and one inside kennel for the free range chickens.

It needs a super good cleanout, worth about 4" of pine shavings and poop built up, to manage the odor. We've had days of rain, so I'm hoping that a dry spell will help.

Agree you have two red sex links, a silver laced Wyandotte and a Welsummer.
