I have six eight day old Silkie chicks. One of them is eating and drinking normally as well as having the same energy level as the rest of the group. The issue is that she has had poop around her vent. I've been treating her for past butt with mashed egg, yogurt mixed with regular food, probiotics, and electrolytes (not at the same time). The chick seemed to be getting better but today her vent was pasted over worse than before. I removed it with a cotton ball and warm water. Once I put her back in the brooder she tried to poop but was having great difficulty and was crying out. After about five minutes she stopped trying and went to eat but she still hasn't pooped yet. Please help I'm really worried.
