I have a 1.5 year old Barred Rock who has out of the blue been a victim of constant bullying from my Wyandotte and Ameraucana for the past week. They pecked all the feathers off the back of her head and finally succeeded in pecking a bleeding wound in the bald spot. It didn't look very deep, just irritated and a bit raw. I have her separated now in a new "chicken infirmary" I built in the run so she can still see the other chickens.

I sprayed it with Blu-Kote yesterday morning and evening and again this morning, but she took a nice long dust bath as soon as I let her out of the cat carrier and into her new fenced in area. It was no longer bleeding this morning and had formed a bit of a scab after the other hens couldn't get to her. The scab and entire area that had the Blu-Kote is now covered in dirt.

Do I need to clean all the dirt off? Should I keep spraying the Blu-Kote on it now that it's not bleeding? Is there anything special I should be doing to it?

Keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't become infected, look for pus, oozing, odors, etc.
Chickens heal fairly quickly, but she may benefit from daily inspection and some more blue kote until it heals well.
