Hi all,

I'm new to the chicken game. Been doing a lot of research to prep for getting my first chickens and this site keeps popping up so i decided to join.

Going to get a 4 girls to start and see how it goes. As long as it is sunny I will be getting started on building the coop this weekend.

If anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it.

Have a look around the Learning Center articles. Topics like which breed to choose, how big to make the coop, what to feed the flock, how to keep them safe, it's all there. Enjoy your new venture!

Glad you joined BYC. I am a newbie as well, my first flock is ready to come out of the brooder. The members here are so generous with their advice I know you will find the site to be a good resource.
