The vet said something large jumped on his back. No doubt by 1 year old lab who gets joy from chasing anything that moves. Time to get serious about his training. Thank you everyone. He was happy to see his friends tonight. They all huddled up and talked. He can only lay there so we have him corned in our coop on a very thick hay cushion. I'm just glad things will eventually be fine. The vet first was concerned that it could be lead poisoning. Thank god it's not anything like that, that would affect the others too
 
Ah, yes, I have a 7 and 9 yr old so I completely get it. The great news is that he's ok and this is a fantastic learning opportunity for your little one....though that a rough age. But I'm sure your wee one will at h on and everyone will move forward. Great news! Take good care :)
 
My duck is so bad. She can’t stand or walk. It’s heartbreaking. How did ur duck do?

She can’t stand up she looses her balance and she can barely fly. I’ve given her charcoal, I’ve given her rich nutrients and water shot down her throat and I’ve given her amoxicillin. Should I give up?
