Hope you don't mind but I quilted this joke into my chicken quilt!
Not at all. I'm glad it served a purpose. However upon reading it, I realized it should have been *cross the road* I used the wrong pretense.

Yes, please, I need more chicken jokes! I tell my residents one every week! Even the really bad ones that make them smile or groan are worth telling.
